On November 24th of 2008, MOST and People’s Government of Jiangxi Province held 2008 Working Meeting on Ministry-Province Cooperation in Nanchang.

The theme of the Meeting is : centering on Lake Poyang Eco-economic Zone, making efforts to make key technological breakthroughs in ecological and environmental protection and treatment, promoting modern eco-agricultural development, facilitating stronger new material new- and hi-tech industries with Jiangxi characteristics and advantages, coordinating urban-rural development, building S&T innovatation platform, accelerating institutional innovation, optimizing policy environment, and providing S&T support for Lake Poyang Eco-economic Zone.

On the Meeting, Minister WAN Gang and Provincial Governor WU Xinxiong signed the Protocol on Working Cooperation System between MOST and People’s Government of Jiangxi Province.
