The Expert Panel of Energy Conservation & New Energy Vehicle held a working meeting on January 9th of 2009. Representatives from Modern Transportation Technology Office of the 863 Program attended the meeting, which was presided over by the Panel Leader Prof. OUYANG Minggao.

The panel reviewed 2008 and listened to report on the innovation alliance of new energy auto industry, demonstration and promotion of electric vehicles. They also identified the priorities of energy conservation and new energy vehicles in the short term.
