The expert panel met for innovation of high-speed trains on February 4^th of 2009 in Beijing. They discussed “Key Technology and Equipment Development of High-speed Trains”, a major project under the S&T Enabling Program and listened to reports from all the participating organizations.

After reviewing the current progress of the project, the panel made arrangements for the next stage to support the construction and opening of Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway.
