Vice Minister ZHANG Laiwu and officials from the Department of Rural Science and Technology visited grain warehouses in Miyun County affiliated to China Grain Reserves Corporation for a field study on February 17th.

According to ZHANG, grain security is a strategic issue. MOST will promote the role of science and technology in safeguarding grain security, and work out measures on planting, storage, circulation and sales of grains with related administrations.
