On February 19th of 2009, DG FENG Jichun of the Department of High and New Technology Development and Industrialization of MOST visited the China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology (CAM), discussing how to resist the financial crisis in the machinery sector with reliance on innovation.
Both sides agree that the global financial crisis provides not only severe challenges but also opportunities for the field of machinery science. Aiming for the leapfrogging development of machinery science, CAM prepares to underpin traditional manufacturing industries in China.
