MOST and Liaoning Province held a consultation meeting in Shenyang on April 16th, 2009. The meeting was themed on revitalizing industrial bases in northeastern China, and relying on S&T innovation to cope with the international financial crisis. Both sides reached consensus and made arrangement on following issues:
1. carrying out technological innovation program in Liaoning;
2. promoting industrial bases;
3. supporting Liaoning to participate in national science projects;
4. developing Shenyang Huishan High-tech Agricultural Development Zone.
