The 7th China Automotive Innovation Forum was held in Shanghai on April 18, 2009, aiming to “guide the public opinion on innovation, carry forward theinnovative spirit, boost the dynamism of China”. Wan Gang, Vice-chairman of 11th CPPCC National Committee and Minister of MOST addressed the Forum.
According to Wan, a healthy automotive industry is key to China’s sound economic and social development. As required by social development and patterns of S&T progress, we will continue our support for innovations in automotive technologies and make breakthroughs in traditional automotive technologies.
