From April 16 to April 20, members sent by MOST joined the 3rd group, organized by the Ministry of Health, for inspecting the prevention and treatment of snail fever in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces.

The team made a field visit to the snail fever-affected areas such as Hanjiang District in Yangzhou, Pukou District in Nanjing and Nanling County in Wuhu, listened to the work report in this field, gave suggestions and advice on the prevention work.

The inspection is very important for understanding the overall epidemic situation, and further implementing the comprehensive prevention and treatment strategies with the emphasis on control of infection source.
