On May 19th of 2009, LI Xueyong, Vice Minister of Science and Technology and Party Secretary of MOST, and Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim signed a working plan on cooperation in science, technology and innovation at the Great Hall of the People.
The Plan highlights bio-energy, nanotechnology and agricultural S&T as priority fields in China-Brazil S&T cooperation. Both parties agreed to vigorously promote exchanges and cooperation between research institutes and enterprises, and work together to enable substantial cooperation at an early date.
