On July 3, the 2009 Teacher Training in Innovation Approaches, organized by the Department of Facilities and Financial Support of MOST, kicked off. The training is divided into a thorough course program and an accelerated one. 81 trainees from local bureau S&T departments, universities, research institutions and enterprises all over the country attended.
Centering on the chain of innovation approaches, the training program underlined the process of product design, the application of TRIZ theory, intellectual capital, industrial engineering, Six Sigma, etc. It aims to familiarize the trainees with the innovation theories and methodologies and computer-aided devices, in order to guide businesses in solving technical bottlenecks as well as apply for patents through innovations.
