The first MOST-TAR (Tibet Autonomous Region) Meeting was held on August 6 in Lhasa. ZHANG Laiwu, member of party committee and Vice Minister of MOST and WU Yingjie, member of the standing committee and Executive Vice Chairman of TAR were present at the event.

During the meeting, MOST and TAR conducted in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on a wide range of cooperation priorities, such as improving the mechanism of S&T aid to Tibet, supporting technological breakthroughs in unique agriculture and animal husbandry, expanding R&D of unique biological resources in Tibet, shoring up the research and demonstration of solar energy, initiating R&D of life-like experience device in Tibet Museum of Natural Sciences.
