Chinese Vice Premier WANG Qishan visited Singapore from August 23 to August 26. During the visit, the Vice Premier and Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore Wong Kan Seng jointly held the 11th Meeting of the Coordination Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park, the 2nd Meeting of the Coordination Committee of Tianjin Ecological City, and the 6th Meeting of the Joint Committee of China-Singapore Bilateral Cooperation. The Vice Minister of MOST CAO Jianlin was also present in the three events.

After the meetings, VM CAO and Lee Yi Shyan, Minister of State of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Guiding Principles for IPR in the S&T Cooperation Programs, in the presence of the Vice Premier of China and Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore.

VM CAO also visited Singapore Media Development Authority, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore.
