The IT Development Strategy Forum, co-organized by the Department of High Technology Development and Industrialization (DHNTDI), High-Tech Research and Development Center (HTRDC) and the IT expert panel of 863 Program, was held recently in Beijing. The Director FENG Jichun and Vice Director YANG Xianwu of DHNTDI, the chief of HTRDC ZHAO Yuhai and other relevant leaders were present. Over 200 representatives participated in the event and around 30 experts delivered reports on the development strategy of IT in China from different perspectives.

Those in charge of the IT office of 863 Program outlined the general plans of MOST on IT development strategy, the guiding principles and working methods.
