The Symposium on Wind Power Generation Technology, organized by the Department of High and New Technology Development and Industrialization (DHNTDI) of MOST, was held on September 7 in Beijing. A number of well-known experts from universities, research institutes and major enterprises were invited to the meeting. Vice Minister of MOST DU Zhanyuan, Deputy Director of DHNTDI ZHANG Zhihong, DG of Hi-tech Research and Development Center ZHAO Yuhai, and DDG of Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Center HAN Lijuan were also present in the event.

The experts shared their views on how to realize sustained development for wind power generation technology through S&T advancement.
