On September 27th, the initiation meeting of “assigning hundreds of experts and thousands of S&T commissioners to grassroots places” was kicked off in Hubei Province, and Vice Minister ZHANG Laiwu attended the event.

During the meeting, awards were given to excellent S&T commissioners, tablets were presented for representatives of agricultural innovation demo zones and enterprises, letters of appointment were awarded to S&T commissioners for 2009, and the open ceremony of the Association of Innovative Rape Processing Industry was held.

After the meeting, VM ZHANG surveyed the agricultural park of Wuhan National Biological Industrial Base, Huazhong Agricultural University, Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences and S&T Innovation Demo Zone of Tangerines in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.
