A meeting on Promoting Green Energy Vehicles in Shanghai, organized by MOST, the Ministry of Finance, State Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was held on October 11.

Experts listened to the reports on the implementation plans, and made field study. According to the plans, Shanghai will have 4,157 green energy vehicles running by the end of 2012, with relevant facilities, information management platforms and real-time monitoring and data collection system in place.
