The 2010 working conference on civil major special projects was jointly held by MOST, National Development and Reform Commission, and Ministry of Finance on January 20 in Beijing.

Director-General XU Jing of Major Special Project Office of MOST announced the priorities and the general plan for 2010, and put forward requirements for each task. In the new year, priority will be given to drafting plans for the Twelfth Five Years, assessing projects, introducing high-caliber talents from abroad, organizing workshops and conferences on management and promotion of projects, and preparing for the check of the Eleventh Five Years.
