Minister WAN Gang of Science and Technology paid a visit to Academician WU Mengchao and Academician GU Chaohao, laureates of National Top Science and Technology Award prior to the Chinese New Year.

WAN first paid a New Year call to Academician WU on February 6, and then went to Fudan University to visit Academician GU. GU exchanged ideas with Minister WAN on the development of mathematics in China.
