Minister WAN Gang met with visiting Managing Director of World Economic Forum Andre Schneider on March 17, Beijing.

The two exchanged ideas on the ministerial forum on science and innovation due in the 2010 Summer Davos. Minister WAN also briefed the efforts by the Chinese government in combating financial crisis by relying on science and technology and the science and technology blueprint during the Twelfth-Five Year Plan.
