The 39th Sino-Czech Joint Committee Meeting on Science and Technology Cooperation was held on April 13, Beijing. Both sides talked about science and technology systems, current progress, policies, and international cooperation.

The two sides also exchanged ideas on furthering bilateral science and technology cooperation in the future, agreeing to launch a new round of intergovernmental cooperation program after both sides reviewed the implementation of the projects approved at the 38th meeting.
