The First Coordinating Group Meeting on Donghu State Innovation Demo Zone was held recently in Beijing. CPPCC Vice Chairman and MOST Minister WAN Gang, Vice Minister LI Xueyong of MOST and leaders from Hubei Province attended and addressed the event.

Minister WAN pointed out that great attention should be paid to system and mechanism innovation while exploring means to facilitate innovation in high-tech zones. Vice Minister LI pointed out that members of the coordinating group should play active roles in the development of the Demo Zone.

Members of the coordinating group were finalized, who reviewed and discussed the construction of the Demo Zone.
