The First SKLRB Symposium on Frontiers in Preimplantation Biology was organized by the Institute of Zoology of Chinese Academy of Sciences from May 8 to 11 at Beijing Friendship Hotel. Director-General ZHANG Xian’en of Basic Research of MOST attended and addressed the event.

In his speech, Director-General ZHANG talked about the priorities of the research program on reproductive biology and policies related to international cooperation. He hoped scientists could carry out original research into reproductive biology and contribute more to the reproductive health of human beings.
