MOST Vice Minister WANG Weizhong met with visiting Minister-President of Flanders Kris PEETERS on May 27, Beijing.

Both sides exchanged ideas and proposed to hold a science and technology week in June at the Belgium Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Sino-Belgium science and technology cooperation, and convene the 10th the Joint Committee Meeting for China-Flanders Science and Technology Cooperation in order to work out priorities for cooperation in the coming two years.
