At the invitation of Vice Minister CAO Jianlin, Egyptian Minister of State for Environmental Affairs Maged GEORGE visited China from July 4 to 7.

During the visit, Minister GEORGE met with VM CAO of Science and Technology and Minister ZHOU Shengxian of Environmental Protection, discussing cooperation on environment technology. In order to promote collaboration between China and Egypt in disposing of and recycling agricultural waste and urban garbage, the Egyptian delegation had talks with a Shandong energy company and made field visits to two environmental protection companies in Tianjin.
