MOST Vice Minister CAO Jianlin met with UNDP Resident Coordinator Renata Lok Dessallien on July 8 in Beijing.

VM CAO talked about the functions of MOST, and the cooperation with UNDP and other UN organizations. He said that the priorities of United Nations Development Assistance Framework (2011-2015) coincided with those of the 12 Five-Year Plan in China. The expert consulting, information, technology, cooperation channels and funds that the UN system provides have great bearing on realizing China’s goal of building an innovative, resource-efficient and environment-friendly country. VM CAO also said China would continue to promote South-South Cooperation in science and technology to help other developing countries.
