The Pilot Project of Innovative Medical Devices was launched by MOST, Ministry of Health and Chongqing Municipal Government on July 20, 2010.

The project, with the theme of facilitating innovation and development to improve people’s life, plans to apply 10,000 medical devices in 1,000 medical institutions selected from 100 counties out of 10 provinces. In the initial phase, over 1,100 trial medical devices made by 60 Chinese enterprises with the value close to RMB 70 million Yuan will be sent to medical institutions in Chongqing.
