China-Germany Seminar on Electrical Vehicle, co-organized by MOST and German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS), was held on July 16 in Wuhan. Standing Member FENG Jichun of the Wuhan Municipal Government and Director-General Veit STEINLE of Environmental Policy and Infrastructure of BMVBS addressed the event.

Participants from governmental agencies, universities, and the automobile industry conducted in-depth discussion on national plans, cost strategy, storage technology, safety technology, recharging solutions, and market access of electrical vehicles.
