On July19, the Conference on Examining and Accepting Research Project of  Vehicle Exhaust Control Technology during the Eleventh Five-Year Period was held by the Office of Resources, Environment and Technology of National High-tech R&D Program .

To address the issue of emissions from vehicles, MOST has been supporting technology research in controlling vehicle exhaust emmissions since the Tenth Five-Year Plan. The Research Project of Vehicle Exhaust Control Technology aims to develop emission control devices and technologies that can meet the National IV Emission Standard and the future National V Emission Standard. By far, 42 invention patents have been granted in the research.
