The Honor Day for Global Environment Facility (GEF) was celebrated on July 20 at Shanghai World Expo site. Representatives from the Chinese government, the World Bank, UNDP, ADB, and UNIDO were present at the event.

Representatives highly affirmed the Demonstration for Fuel Cell Bus Commercialization in China, a project under the support of MOST, GEF and UNDP. This project is firstly launched among the five UNDP/GEF fuel cell demonstrations around the world, and it is also the first fuel cell project in the developing countries. After the celebration, representatives visited the World Expo site by the fuel cell buses.
