The 6th International Symposium on Food Science and the Summit Forum on Food Science Theory and Research, organized by Beijing Food Research Institute, China Food Journal, International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC), was held in Beijing on Aug. 8. Representatives from the US, Australia, ROK, Japan, etc. and domestic scholars, experts, business representatives were present at the event.
During the 3-day event, participants held in-depth discussions on food science, cereal and oil food, food bio-tech, meat, milk and egg, aquatic food, food safety, functional food, natural food, vegetable storage and transportation, etc.
