Member of the Leading Party Group of MOST and Chief of Science and Technology Daily ZHANG Jing’an addressed the 30th Anniversary of the Signing of Sino-Australia S&T Cooperation Agreement (the Agreement) and Sino-Australia S&T Week in Shanghai on Aug. 4.
ZHANG highly recognized the achievements since the signing of the Agreement. He stressed that international S&T cooperation has already become the engine for economy, society, and technology, and good cooperation has been established between researchers, research institutes, universities, and enterprises in China and Australia, which will pave the way for extensive cooperation in the future.
Under the Agreement, both sides set up China-Australia S&T Cooperation Special Fund, established a series of joint research centers, and carried out exchanges for young scientists.
