At the invitation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba (MSTE), MOST Vice Minister DU Zhanyuan led a delegation to Cuba on Aug. 26, 2010. During the visit, VM DU met with MSTE Minister Meyer, and Permanent Vice Minister Gonzalez, and co-chaired the 8^th session of China-Cuba Joint Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation together with Vice Minister Lena Domingos. During the meeting, both governments exchanged ideas on deepening bilateral cooperation in science and technology, and worked out the science and technology cooperation plans for the next two years.
