The Publicity Meeting of the EU 7th Framework Program (FP 7), sponsored by China Science and Technology Exchange Center and Shanghai Municipal S&T Commission, and organized by Shanghai Foreign S&T Exchange Center, was held on Sept. 6 of 2010 in Shanghai.

Representatives from the EU, and relevant government agencies and institutes of Sweden, Italy, Greece and the UK were present, and made keynote speeches on FP 7 application procedures, intellectual property rights, environment protection, and how to seek cooperation partners. They also provided latest bidding information.

It is believed that the publicity meeting of the FP 7 provided a good opportunity to research institutes and universities in and surrounding Shanghai to apply for and participate in the FP 7.
