International Seminar on China-Vietnam Technology Application and Transfer, co-sponsored by MOST and Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and China Vietnam Friendship Year, was held on Sep. 27 in Hanoi. Representatives from the science and technology authorities of the two governments, universities, research institutes and enterprises attended the seminar. MST Deputy Minister Nguyen Quan addressed the event.
During the visit to Vietnam, Bioclone Biotech Co., Ltd. of Nanning signed letters of intent with a Vietnamese biotech company and Biotech Center of the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture. Their cooperation will cover a wide range of fields, such as biotech and breeding of edible fungas.
