The unveiling ceremony for Vestas China R&D Center was held on Oct. 12 in Beijing. Vestas is a world-leading wind turbine manufacturer and its China R&D Center is the first of its kind established by a foreign wind energy enterprise in China.

MOST Vice Minister CAO Jianlin addressed the ceremony. He also met with Lars Pettersson, Danish Ambassador in China, Finn Madsen, head of Vestas Technology R&D and Jens Tommerup, President of Vestas China, and discussed the development strategy for wind power in China.
