International Seminar on Addressing Climate Change through Science and Technology Cooperation for Developing Countries, organized by China Science and Technology Exchange Center and Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources of CAS, was held on Oct. 8 in Tianjin. Representatives from MOST, embassies of developing countries in China, international organizations, UN Climate Change Talks in Tianjin, domestic and foreign universities and enterprises and attendees of training course on technologies for developing countries attended the seminar.
The seminar aims to explore the needs, mechanism, capacity building for South-South Cooperation to tackle climate change through science and technology. It proposed the priority fields for cooperation to facilitate technology R&D and transfer in climate change.
