MOST Minister WAN Gang met with visiting ITER Director-General Osamu Motojima and his delegation on Oct. 18 of 2010 in Beijing.

Minister WAN congratulated on Motojima’s election as the new Director-General of ITER, and said that China would always support ITER and honor its commitments. Director-General Motojima briefed the Minister on the progress of ITER, and the objectives, directions and measures for reforms. He also appreciated the support of the Chinese government to ITER and looked forward to more participation by Chinese personnel in ITER’s future work.
