The China-Netherlands Seminar on Cooperation Opportunities of Open Innovation, jointly sponsored by the Department of International Cooperation of MOST and the Embassy of Netherlands in China, organized by the Philips Research Asia, was held on Oct. 28 of 2010 in Shanghai. Themed at strengthening exchanges between China and Netherlands in policy-making and practice of open innovation, the seminar held in-depth discussions on specific cooperation areas such as solid state lighting and family medical care. Participants included government officials, business representatives, researchers and university academics of the two countries.
