The 2010 China-US Executive Secretaries Meeting on Science and Technology Cooperation was held from Oct. 28 to 29，2010 in Chengdu. Representatives in charge of science and technology cooperation from the two governments and diplomatic missions were present at the event.

The meeting reviewed agreements, implementation progress, and existing problems under the framework of the bilateral S&T cooperation agreement. Discussions were also held on future cooperation and current projects on public health, agriculture, climate science, education and training, basic research, earthquake, ocean, meteorology, energy, traffic, nano-technology, etc. Representatives reached a consensus on strengthening cooperation and carrying out relevant projects in a series of fields in the future.
