The 40th China-Romania S&T Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) was held in Beijing on Oct. 18，2010. MOST Vice Minister CAO Jianlin and Vice President of the Romanian National Authority for Scientific Research Dragos Ciuparu co-chaired the event. Romanian Ambassador to China Viorel Budura Isticioaia was also present.
Both sides introduced their own plans and policies on science and technology (S&T), and the latest development of S&T and international cooperation. After exchanging ideas on facilitating bilateral S&T cooperation, the two parties signed a protocol of the meeting.
