Minister WAN Gang addressed the High-level Forum on Automobile and New Energy held in Wuhan lately.

In the context of efforts made by national governments and auto industries to deal with climate change and the rapid development of auto technology innovation and diffusion, WAN analyzed and forecasted the strategic priorities and prospects of industrialization and commercialization of new energy vehicles.

Participating experts exchanged views on the development, demonstration and diffusion of vehicle technologies, auto components and related material technologies, smart charging network and other related subjects.

During the forum participants also took a close look at prototypes of new energy vehicles made by the Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. and visited the production line of the company and the Donghu New Technology Development Zone.
