The China-U.S. Clean Energy Research Center was inaugurated in Washington D.C. on January 18, 2011. The inauguration ceremony was attended by WAN Gang, Minister of Science and Technology of China; Zhang Guobao, head of the China National Energy Administration, and Steven Chu, U.S. Secretary of Energy.
