The Cross-Strait Science and Technology Forum was held in Beijing on January 13 and 14, 2011. Experts and scholars from the S&T communities across the Taiwan Strait gathered to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in S&T innovation.

 

Over recent years, cross-strait S&T exchanges and cooperation have been widened in scope, carried out through diversified forms and expanded cooperation channels. At the Forum, participants held discussions on innovation policies, S&T planning and management, resource sharing, hi-tech industry development and management, energy conservation, environment protection, new energy development, and the integrated utilization of biological resources.
