Vice Minister CAO Jianlin met with a delegation led by Mr. Mahdi Safari, Iranian Ambassador to China at the Ministry of Science and Technology on January 29， 2011. CAO congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment as Iranian Ambassador to China and expressed his hope that the Ambassador could advance the friendly ties and the bilateral relation between the two countries. The two sides exchanged views on how to promote exchanges and cooperation between the scientific and technological communities in the two countries.
