On March 1, the Regional Meeting on County (City)-Level S&T Progress Evaluation was held in Dingxi, Gansu Province.

Delegates discussed the indicators to be used for the evaluation of county (city)-level S&T progress in 2011, and agreed that the evaluation plays a significant role in implementing the strategy for “national rejuvenation through science and education”, promoting S&T development in counties (cities), and accelerating the transformation of economic growth mode.
