On April 6, 2011, Director-General Qin Yong of the High Technology Research and Development Center (HTRDC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology met with a delegation from the Korean Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning headed by its Vice-Present Sang Yup Lee.

Director-General Qin extended welcome to the delegation and briefed the guests on the main responsibilities and functions of HTRDC and the management of China’s national programs for science and technology development. The Korean delegation introduced Korea’s planning and administration of industrial technology research and development. Both sides had extensive discussions on the two countries’ industrial technology research and development, planning and management, as well as further promotion of bilateral cooperation.
