ViceMinister of Science and Technology CHEN Xiaoya made a three-day visit to Guangdong from March 21 to 23, 2011 to inspect the development of local research bases.

The delegation headed by ViceMinister CHEN visited seven state key laboratories including State Key Laboratory of Subtropical Building Science at South China University of Technology, Guangdong Key Laboratory for High-Property & Functional Polymeric Materials, and State Key Laboratory of Environmental Adaptability for Industrial Products at China National Electric Apparatus Research Institute. Madame CHEN also listened to reports by the heads of these laboratories about their recent development and major research results.

During the visit, ViceMinister CHEN acknowledged and commended Guangdong’s great efforts and achievements in the development of research bases.
