The 973 project on science and key technologies research related to the Chinese assignments under the ITER project organized a workshop in Chengdu on April 13, 2011.

This 973 project was launched in 2008, aiming to conduct pre-research on science and key techniques related to China's procurement packages so as to provide scientific basis for procurement package agreements. The project is now well underway and more package agreements will be signed.
