At the invitation of Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science, Vice Minister Cao Jianlin visited Kazakhstan on May 10th to 14th and chaired the 5th China-Kazakhstan S&T Cooperation Committee (CKSTCC) meeting with Mr. Orunkhanov, Kazakhstan Vice Minister for Education and Science.

Both sides updated each other on the latest achievements in science and technology, and exchanged opinions on cooperation prospect. The two agreed to focus on the priorities of their national sci-tech programs, and work together on all links from R&D to commercialization. They also proved 2011-2013 S&T cooperation project plan between the two countries. A minutes was signed after the meeting.
