Wang Zhixue, Vice-minister of MOST and Chief of Science and Technology Daily, chaired the opening ceremony of the 8th China, Russia and Mongolia S&T Achievements & Hi-tech Products Exhibition on the morning of July 4th. The event was held at Manchuria International Exhibition Center in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from July 4th to 6th. Around the theme of "development, opening-up, cooperation and win-win", the exhibition sets up a  platform for the hi-tech cooperation of the three countries.

Have been held for eight sessions since 2004, the exhibition has become the most prominent one jointly held by the three countries. This session was composed of three themed zones of China, Russia and Mongolia and eight specialized exhibitions, attracting over 650 enterprises and more than 1500 participants. A series of special activities were held during the event, including China, Russia and Mongolia S&T projects promotion, China-Russia S&T projects match-making, a seminar on trade and economic development in border areas.
